The RRB NTPC Recruitment is done for both graduate and non-graduate candidates. The recruitment has four stages- CBT 1, CBT 2, CBAT, and Document Verification. RRB NTPC 2024 Selection Process
The RRB NTPC 2024 selection process comprises four stages. Successful completion of all four stages makes applicants eligible for RRB NTPC recruitment 2024. The selection process includes the following stages:

CBT 1 is the first stage of the RRB NTPC exam and is common for both undergraduate and graduate posts.
The exam consists of three sections – Mathematics (30 questions, 30 marks), General Intelligence & Reasoning (30 questions, 30 marks), and General Awareness (40 questions, 40 marks).
Candidates have 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete the entire CBT 1 paper.
There is a provision for negative marking, and one-third of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for each wrong answer.

RRB NTPC 2024 Exam Pattern for CBT 2
CBT 2 is the second stage of the RRB NTPC exam, and it has a different difficulty level compared to CBT 1.
The exam has three sections – Mathematics (35 questions, 35 marks), Reasoning (35 questions, 35 marks), and General Intelligence & General Awareness (50 questions, 50 marks).
Similar to CBT 1, candidates have 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete the CBT 2 paper.
Negative marking is applicable in CBT 2 as well, with one-third of the marks allotted to a question deducted for incorrect responses.
Qualifying CBT 2 is crucial for proceeding to the next stages of the RRB NTPC selection process.

RRB NTPC Kolkata last Year’s result

 

RRB(Railway Recruitment Board) has recently announced that the NTPC CBT 1 result will be released shortly on the official website of the Board. The officials are expecting to announce the result most probably in September 2021. Relevantly Candidates can check their results on this website as well after release. The CBT–1 exam was conducted in a total of 7 phases from 28th December 2020 to 8th April 2021. More than 1.26 lakh candidates have appeared in the exam. A total of 35277 posts are to be filled under this recruitment.

    Each correct answer will be counted with 1 mark as per the RRB NTPC exam pattern.

    There was a change in the exam pattern, but the selection process is the same as RRB NTPC 2021. Firstly a computer-based Test (CBT)-1, a Computer-based Test (CBT)-2, and then a Typing skill test/computer-based aptitude test, and lastly Document verification / medical examination. On the other hand Skill tests will be conducted for some posts as well.
  6. Qualifying marks of RRB NTPC –
    For eligibility, candidates have to gain a minimum percentage in various categories, like – For UR – 40%, For EWS – 40%, For OBC(Non-creamy layer) – 30%, For SC – 30%, For ST – 25%. For PwBD candidates, maybe there is a relaxation of 2% for eligibility.
